Pianpolvere Soprano

A name steeped in history

The “Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia” project started in 1998, the year in which our family purchased the homonymous vineyard, located in Monforte d’Alba.

Over the years, Rodolfo Migliorini decided to personally overlook the cultivation and vinification of these historic grapes. From the very beginning, he implemented integrated and sustainable vineyard practices to preserve natural resources and to care for the hilly landscape.

Thus a unique wine by the same name, Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia, was born.  Today it can be found in two versions: Barolo Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia D.O.C.G. and Barolo Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia Riserva D.O.C.G.

Two Barolos from one single vineyard and with an authentic character.  The first “Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia Barolo D.O.C.G.” came onto the market in 2016, immediately gaining great success.  On the other hand, the “Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia Barolo Riserva D.O.C.G., is only produced in the best years.
