Pianpolvere Soprano

A name steeped in history

The “Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia” project started in 1998, the year in which our family purchased the homonymous vineyard, located in Monforte d’Alba.

Over the years, Rodolfo Migliorini decided to personally overlook the cultivation and vinification of these historical grapes, following the “Green Experience” project, a collective certification, integrated and sustainable, dedicated to Piedmontese wines and created to enhance the distinctiveness of the production methods, in order to preserve the natural resources and take care of the hilly landscape.

Thus a unique wine by the same name, Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia, was born.  Today it can be found in two versions: Barolo Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia D.O.C.G. and Barolo Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia Riserva D.O.C.G.

Two Barolos from one single vineyard and with an authentic character.  The first “Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia Barolo D.O.C.G.” came onto the market in 2016, immediately gaining great success.  On the other hand, the “Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia Barolo Riserva D.O.C.G., is only produced in the best years.
